Salik introduces new rules for paying for travel. They will help improve traffic.
▫️ If you pass through Al-Safa and Al-Mamzar points, the fee is charged only once, even if you have passed through the point twice in an hour.
▎The new prices will be effective from January 31, 2025 and will be constant except for Ramadan:
🔺 Peak hours (6:00 – 10:00 and 16:00 – 20:00): you will need to pay 6 dirhams for travel.
🔻 Off-peak hours (10:00 – 16:00 and 20:00 – 1:00): 4 dirhams for travel.
▪️ Late night (1:00 – 6:00): The ride is free.
▫️ On Sundays (if not a holiday): the fare is 4 dirhams.
▎During Ramadan:
🔺 Peak hours (9:00 – 17:00): the fare is 6 dirhams.
🔻 Off-peak hours (7:00 – 9:00 and 17:00 – 2:00): passage 4 dirhams.
▪️ Late night (2:00 – 7:00): The ride is free.
